BNP Paribas & Nippon India MF buy stakes in Electronics Mart India
Electronics Mart, which was listed on the bourses today with over 50 per cent premium, saw multiple bulk deals as per NSE bulk deals data.
BNP Paribas Arbitrage took positions in the stock and bought 33,31,32 shares at an average traded price of Rs 88.58. In another deal, it sold 9,340 shares in the counter for Rs 85.94. After logging handsome listing gains in trade today, the stock of Electronics Mart ended with gains of over 43% at Rs 84.5 per share.
In yet another bulk deal, shares of the speciality retail company were bought by Nippon India Mutual fund. The mutual fund bought 24 lakh shares in Electronics Mart at an average traded price of Rs 89.42. This considering the IPO price was at a hefty premium.
Furthermore, proprietary trading concern NK Securities Research also transacted in the stock.
